Savvly is a modern personal pension platform pioneering longevity benefits. The Savvly Fund pools investments among participants, with those who stay invested long-term benefiting from 'long-life bonuses' — structured payouts beginning at age 80. Founded by Dario Fusato (ex-McKinsey, ex-Aon Plc, ex-Arthur J. Gallagher) and Tony Derossi (insurance executive), with General Counsel Robert Evans III (partner at Locke Lord, former SEC senior official). Assets are held by Apex Group as custodian and invested in low-cost S&P 500 ETFs from Vanguard.
Akadenia built the entire Savvly platform from the ground up, including the web application and the React Native mobile app. We implemented the full investment infrastructure using TypeScript on Microsoft Azure, with Auth0 for authentication, Plaid for bank account linking, Veriff for identity verification, and DocuSign for document signing. We built interactive investment calculators with dynamic graphs that help users visualize their retirement projections. The platform supports dual onboarding flows — one for individual customers and another for financial advisors managing client portfolios. Real-time updates are powered by WebSockets with MobX state management across the mobile app.
