We start every engagement with a discovery phase — understanding what you're building, who it's for, and what success looks like. We push back on scope that adds complexity without adding value, and we're direct about timelines.
What does your typical team composition look like?↓
It depends on the stage. Early-stage engagements often involve 2-3 engineers plus a project lead. At scale, we can staff larger teams across web, mobile, API, and infrastructure. Everyone on our team is a full-time Akadenia engineer — no subcontractors.
Do you take equity in lieu of fees?↓
We work on a time-and-materials or retainer basis. We're a services company, not a venture studio. Our clients retain full ownership of what we build.
